Broadview Heights sets first "Outdoor Movie Night" for this Saturday

Broadview Heights is holding its first “Outdoor Movie Night” of the season on Saturday. “How to Train Your Dragon” will be shown at nightfall on June 25 at the City Green at Broadview Center, 9543 Broadview Road.

Attendees are encouraged to bring blanket or lawn chairs, as well as their own non alcoholic beverages, though plenty of refreshments will be available for purchase at the event.

Pre show activities will begin at 9pm. No reservations are required for the event, and in case of inclement weather, it will be moved to the gym at the recreation center.

Last year, the outdoor movie nights were a big hit with residents, who brought their families to enjoy the entertainment with the rest of the community. This summer, two other big movie nights are being planned as well. The recreation center will be hosting its “Family Camp Out” on July 23, featuring “Despicable Me” as the outdoor movie. Families interested in registering for the camp out must do so on or before July 10. Registration is $10 per family or tent. On August 13, “Megamind” will the be final outdoor movie of the season.
