The 14th annual Cinema at the Square summer film series returns to the Palace Theatre at PlayhouseSquare, bringing sixteen classic film favorites.
The famous 20-foot screen will feature movies such as the 1933 classic “King Kong” and “The Grapes of Wrath” from August 4 to 21. The event will also feature vintage entertainment as moviegoers will be treated to pre-show organ recitals on a restored 1927 Kimball organ that contains 16 sets of pipes, a xylophone, Glockenspiel, a complete set of drums and many cymbals. The organ, which was donated to PlayhouseSquare in 1975, was painstakingly restored by volunteers.
All tickets for Cinema at the Square cost $5 for each movie. The following is a complete schedule of movies that will be shown:
