Join the Community West Foundation at the Cleveland Metroparks zoo as they present the 14th Annual Gift of Life Event on Sunday, September 7. Bring your entire family and enjoy a whole day of fun featuring lions, tigers and bears and a variety of activities and entertainment such as demonstrations and special performances by clowns, superheroes, jugglers, magicians, Irish dancers and many more!
The Gift of Life Event is held every year to celebrate children born at Fairview Hospital. All proceeds from the event will go towards providing every baby born at the hospital the opportunity to take home a Sleep Sack to promote peaceful and safe sleep. Around 4,000 infants die suddenly each year in the United States, and according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, accidental suffocation is the leading cause of death. This is the reason why Fairview Hospital is commited to offering Northeast Ohio parents Sleep Sacks for their children to promote safer sleep for them.
