The 20th annual Akron Home and Flower Show will take place from Friday, February 22 to Sunday, February 24. Held at the J.S. Knight Convention Center since 1993, the show magically transforms the venue into lush and stunning garden. Visitors can expect to see over 4,900 square feet of showcase gardens, hundreds of exhibitors, a wide variety of demonstrations and several local celebrities.
This year’s highlights include a large demonstration garden created by Petitti Garden Centers, celebrity visits by Matt and Shari from “Around the House with Matt and Shari” and Dr. Lori’s antique appraisals. Exhibitors include Renewal by Andersen, Kitchen Craft, Ohio State Waterproofing, Medina Glass Block, Barden Homes and many more.
Other activities include informative home improvement seminars and helpful cooking demonstrations.
The Akron Home and Flower Show will be open from 10am to 8pm on Friday and Saturday, and from 10am to 5pm on Sunday. Tickets cost $8 for adults, while children 12 years old and below are free of charge. Parking is free in Akron city lots beginning at 6pm on Friday.
