The 29th annual Cleveland Museum of Art’s Print Fair has been a favorite event of fine art print collectors for many years now. While the last several instalments have been three-day affairs held off-campus, this year’s event has been expanded to four days, and will be held for the first time in the Cleveland Museum of Art’s vast new atrium.
During the fair, fourteen reputable dealers from around the country will make prints, drawings, and photographs available for purchase to art lovers. The prints will feature works from both contemporary artists and the beloved old masters. Admission to the fair is $5 for the general public, while museum members get in free. Dealers will donate 10 percent of the sale prices to the museum, in order to aid in the purchase of prints for its permanent collection.
Fair hours are from 11am to 7pm on Friday, September 27; and from 10am to 4pm on Saturday, September 28 and Sunday, September 29. Various demonstrations and lectures will also be a part of the fair. For more information on this event, please visit www.cleveland.com.
The Cleveland Museum of Art is located at 11150 East Blvd. in Cleveland.
