The second annual International Beer Fest is happening this weekend at the International Exposition Center located at 6200 Riverside Drive in Cleveland.
This year’s event will again feature three tasting sessions over two days with 200 breweries and 800 beers, making it a must-attend event for beer lovers in Cleveland. The beer fest will feature appearances by celebrity brewers, authors and personalities sharing enlightening industry insights; educational programming at Brew U, where beer-centric demonstrations and discussions highlight trends in home brewing, regional developments and green brewing; seminars on food and beer pairings in the Tasting Room; and exhibitors specializing in beer-related products who will showcase and offer their wares available for purchase. Aisles are organized by region, so that visitors can try beers from different countries or areas such as Northeast Ohio.
Last year’s event drew over 8,500 people, and organizers are hoping this year’s installment will be just as successful or even better.
Sessions are from 7 to 11pm on Friday, May 11 and from 1 to 5pm and 7 to 11pm on Saturday, May 12. Tickets are $45 for a single session, $75 for a VIP single sessions, $120 for all sessions, $200 for VIP all sessions, $10 for a designated driver and $8 for parking.
General admission includes 36 tasting tickets (2-ounce pours) and a tasting cup, while VIP admission includes general admission items plus six additional tasting tickets, a t-shirt, and access to the Brewer’s Lounge to try limited-edition samples of beer and food.
