Tri-C JazzFest is celebrating its 35th anniversary with a big move to June 2014, presenting three jam-packed days of concerts in the theaters at PlayhouseSquare plus free music outside on Star Plaza. Twelve ticketed shows and a host of free outdoor events will be featured from Thursday, June 26 to Saturday, June 28, 2014.
Tri-C JazzFest Cleveland is made possible through support from the Cleveland Foundation, Cuyahoga Community College, Cuyahoga Arts & Culture, the Ohio Arts Council, and the National Endowment for the Arts, as well as a growing list of members and sponsors.
Its educational sponsor is DownBeat, the granddaddy of American music publications. “The Bible of Jazz” covers a broad spectrum of jazz, blues and other great music from around the globe. DownBeat is written with musicians in mind and – whether online or in your mailbox – provides a backstage pass to the finest sounds on earth.
