8th annual Art Fur Animals benefits City of Cleveland Kennel

The eighth annual Art Fur Animals is taking place on Friday, June 22 at SmARTspace, located at the 78th Street Studios, 1305 West 80th St in Cleveland.

Art Fur Animals 2012 is an art party that raises money for animals in need at the City of Cleveland Kennel. Art lovers who also have a soft spot for animals will be able to sample delicious hors d’oeuvres, wine and beer while enjoying entertainment from DJ Funk-Shway. The live and silent art auction will feature individual works of art from locally and nationally recognized artists including Douglas Max Utter, Janet Macoska, Dana Depew, Michael Greenwald, Kristen Cliffel, Kirk Mangus, Laura Dumm, and Randall Tiedeman. All in over, more than a dozen area artists have donated their works for the event.

The event runs from 7 to 10pm, and tickets are $20 in advance and $25 on the day of the event. Included with admission are a bid to win artwork in the live and silent auctions, chances to win valuable raffle prizes from local businesses, and food and drinks served by celebrity bartenders.

All proceeds from the event will go directly to the care of animals at the City of Cleveland Kennel. To learn more about the organization and the event, please visit friendsofclevelandkennel.com.
