Animals, German sausages and beer make for an unusual but enjoyable combination in “Birds, Beasts, Brats & Beer,” happening on Thursday, August 21 at 5:30PM at the Cleveland Museum of Natural History. In this fun seasonal party, guests will have the chance to observe bobcats, river otters, birds of prey and other native Ohio animals from Perkins Wildlife Center and Woods Garden, Armington Raptor Center and Wildlife Resource Center in action. Target training and enrichment demonstrations will also be held throughout the evening, as well as a special Birds & Beasts show in the Museum’s Shafran Planetarium. All this while enjoying delicious brats and beers, courtesy of Great Lakes Brewing Co., The Pork Chop Shop and Society Lounge.
Tickets range from $20 to $35 and include bratwursts, refreshments and beer or wine. Additional drink and specialty cocktail tickets will also be available for purchase. Proceeds will benefit feathered and furry animals under the Museum’s care.
