Bob Dylan holds concert at Jacobs Pavilion

The legendary Bob Dylan and his band had a one night concert Saturday, August 6 at 8pm at Jacobs Pavilion (formerly The Nautica Pavilion) located at 2014 Sycamore St., Cleveland.

The concert opened with a performance by Leon Russell, after which Mr. Dylan took the stage. The iconic singer-songwriter’s setlist included such hits as “To Ramona,” “Tangled up in Blue,” and the wildly influential classic “Like a Rolling Stone.”

Born Robert Allen Zimmerman, Bob Dylan turned 70 last May. He has been a major figure in music for five decades and has had immense influence on popular music. Much of his most celebrated and memorable work was done in the 60s, when his songs pushed the boundaries of popular music by containing a variety of political, social, philosophical and literary messages.

Today, many popular artists and musicians cite Bob Dylan and his music as one of their influences, including the band U2 and renown guitarist Eric Clapton.
