Halloween is coming slightly early to the Cleveland Metroparks Zoo this year, as the zoo’s Boo at the Zoo event kicks off on Thursday, October 17. Designed to appeal to a younger audience, the event features eight nights of fun activities and games that young ones will surely enjoy.
Presented by Giant Eagle, Boo at the Zoo offers safe and Halloween entertainment, with a spooky delight around every corner, including various fascinating animals on exhibit every evening. Activities include the Creepy Crawly Critter Animal Show, the Not-So-Haunted Greenhouse, the Pirates of the Scaribbean Train Ride, the Monster Mash Dance Party, the Halloween Hay Maze, magic shows, stilt walkers, jugglers, live musical entertainment and much, much more.
Children and adults are encouraged to wear fun (not scary) costumes, and every child will receive a complimentary bag of treats. Tickets cost $8 for children ages 2 and up, while children under the age of 2 get in free. Gates open at 5:30pm; with the event proper beginning at 6pm. Boo at the Zoo will run from October 17 to 20 and 24 to 27 from 6 to 9pm on all eight dates.
