Gourmets in the Garden is a sellout series of Wednesday evening cooking demonstrations at Cleveland Botanical Garden. Chefs from the city’s top eateries share their latest and greatest summer food ideas to budding gourmet cooks and enthusiastic foodies. Each chef is a passionate and inspired practitioner of today’s standard of cooking with fresh and local ingredients. The fun is in seeing how each chef does it.
All Gourmets sessions begin at 6pm sharp, with sessions varying in length. They all take place in one of the loveliest settings in Cleveland, the Garden’s Geis Terrace. Due to the popularity of last year’s series, space is limited and advance reservations are required by calling 216-721-1600, ext 100. Session fees are $5 for members, and $10 for non-members.
Only two more sessions remain in this year’s series. Next week on August 24, Chef Doug Katz of Fire, Food and Drink will share his latest summer creations while Chef Tony Smoody of Bon Appetit will take over the final session on August 31. Make your reservations now as this series is a crowd pleaser and you won’t want to miss out.
Cleveland Botanical Garden is located at 11030 East Boulevard, Cleveland, Ohio.
