Northeast Ohio’s largest annual outdoor festival, the Cleveland Labor Day Oktoberfest, is now on its 10th year. Happening from Friday, August 29 to Monday, September 1, this year’s festival kicks off at 4pm at the Cuyahoga County Fairgrounds in Berea. Enjoy live music, great food, and of course, loads and loads of the best beers from around the world! This year, the festival will feature an International Beer Garden and Sausage Autobahn. The International Beer Garden will offer ten of the finest brews from all over the globe, including beers from Belgium, Canada, Italy, London, Mexico, Poland, Scotland and Spain. Meanwhile, the Sausage Autobahn offers visitors a choice of spicy or regular sausages, premium bratwursts, and sides of sauerkraut and potato pancakes.
Other attractions include the Five Star Wiener Dog Races, the Best Oktoberfest Microbrew Competition, a 5k Bier Run, a Miss Oktoberfest Contest, demonstrations and performances from a sand sculptor and a marionette company, and a Celebrity Keg Tapping event. Kid-friendly activities include gingerbread house and sand castle building, hay rides, arts and crafts, and fun inflatables to play on. This is definitely an event the whole family can enjoy together.
