Cleveland Metroparks Zoo will be holding their fifth annual Fairytales & Frogs event on Monday, February 17 from 10am to 1pm at the Zoo’s RainForest. A fun event for youngsters and adults alike, it focuses on frogs with a twist. Kids will have the chance to learn all about the importance of frogs in the Earth’s ecosystem, the dangers they face in the wild due to pollution, climate change and habitat loss, as well as the special roles they have played in popular fairy tales and stories throughout history.

Children under 12 will receive free admission to the Zoo and the RainForest on that day, and everyone is encouraged to come dressed as a princess, prince or frog. The Zoo’s frog keepers will be on hand to give everyone an up close and personal encounter with these fascinating creatures, and so will the Zoo’s larger than life frog mascots. There may even be a princess or two present. Other fun activities include a hop around the Radio Disney dance floor, frog craft, games, storytelling and much more.
