Cleveland Restaurant Week and Chili Cookoff for Autism

From Monday through Saturday, April 14, Cleveland Independents, an organization of more than 90 locally owned restaurants in Northeast Ohio, will be adding a second Cleveland Restaurant Week to its repertoire. The event excludes Easter Sunday on April 8.

Around 60 of the member restaurants will be offering three-course dinners priced at $33, although prices may also vary. Several of the participants will also be offering prix-fixe lunches (again, prices may vary.) Links to each participating restaurants, menus and reservations will all be available on clevelandrestaurantweek.com, and real-time reservations will be offered through OpenTable.

Cleveland Independents’ original Cleveland Restaurant Week will continue to run in autumn.

Meanwhile, for only $20, you can eat your share of chili and support an important cause. The seventh annual Greater Cleveland Chili Cookoff for Autism will be taking place at 6pm on Tuesday at the Holiday Inn ballroom in Independence. More than 30 amateur and professional chefs will be dishing up their chili offerings. Participants include representatives from Corleone’s, Dante, Mavis Winkle’s, Palookaville Chili, PepperMill Pub and Tinker’s Creek Road Tavern. The agenda includes celebrity hosts and judges, auctions, raffle prizes and live entertainment, so expect to have a good time as well as your fill of delicious food while supporting this excellent cause.
