As we enter the month of love, get in the mood for Valentine’s Day by taking your loved one on a romantic and dreamy snowshoe hike under the starry sky as Cleveland Metroparks presents Date Night – Snowshoe Night Hike on Friday, January 31 from 6 to 8:30pm at the Acacia Reservation.
Kick off date night with a light yet hearty meal of chili, cornbread and a warm beverage of your choice (coffee, tea or hot chocolate) courtesy of Dino’s Catering, while learning about the history of snowshoeing. Then spend the rest of the evening enjoying the serenity of winter in good company. Tickets cost $25 each and include snowshoes, headlamps and dinner. No special boots or other equipment is required, but waterproof footwear and warm layered clothing is highly recommended.
