The Dave Matthews Band has booked a concert at Blossom Music Center in Cuyahoga Falls for Sunday, June 3. Tickets will go on sale at 10am on Friday, March 9. Prices are to be announced.
The band has been working on a new studio album with longtime producer Steve Lillywhite and will start off on a North American concert tour this spring. Lillywhite produced the band’s first three studio albums “Under the Table and Dreaming,” “Crash,” and “Before These Crowded Streets.” The latest album is slated to be released later this year.
Meanwhile, the Beach Boys will also be hitting the road for their 50th Anniversary Tour, featuring their original lineup with Brian Wilson, Mike Love, Al Jardine, Bruce Johnston and David Marks. They will be stopping at Blossom Music Center on Wednesday, June 13.
Tickets go on sale Saturday, February 25 at Ticketmaster outlets. Tickets for the show are $25 for the lawn and $35, $55 and $95 for the pavilion.
The Beach Boys kicked off their reunion by performing at the recent Grammy Awards. Their tour, which will begin in April, will span over 40 cities and include stops at the New Orleans Jazz and Heritage Festival and the Bonnaroo Music and Arts Festival.
They are also planning to release a new studio album this year, as well as commemmorative re-issues of their classic recordings.
