This month’s instalment of Dinner in the Dark will take place on Monday, August 12 from 6:30 to 9:30pm at the Grovewood Tavern, located at 17105 Grovewood Avenue in Cleveland. Each month, the Dinner in the Dark event brings together six different chefs and has them cook together, sometimes for the first time ever, at a different restaurant. Founded by co-creators Brian Okin and Jeff Jarrett, Dinner in the Dark has been described as being “like an open mic, jam session for chefs.”
Visitors can expect to partake in a delicious six course dinner created by six talented local chefs. The participant chefs and the menu for the month is not disclosed until the guests arrive, thus they are kept “in the dark.”
Each course during the meal is accompanied by a complementing wine or artisan cocktail. Proceeds from the event go to benefit a local charity selected by the participating chefs. For more information, please visit http://dinnerinthedarkcleveland.com/.
