2. Make your home smell good. Use room fragrances and candles to make your home smell warm and inviting, which will help make it more memorable to potential home buyers. Be careful, though, because using the wrong, overpowering scents can have the opposite effect and make buyers feel dizzy or overwhelmed. Stick to light, fresh and clean scents that give the impression of a sparkling clean and new home.

3. Highlight all your home’s best features. Use a few well-placed accessories to draw your potential buyer’s eyes to certain focal points that will make them dwell on your home’s best assets.
