If your little ones want to get into the Halloween spirit, but are still too young for anything too scary, Cleveland Metroparks Zoo offers a great way for them to take part in the celebration. Designed for a younger audience, Boo at the Zoo offers eight nights of scare-free fun in a neighborhood of safe and enjoyable Halloween entertainment. Presented by Giant Eagle, this spooktacular event features a delightfully spooky surprise on every corner of the zoo, including fascinating animals on exhibit each evening. Happy haunts include: The Creepy Crawly Critter Animal Show, the Monster Mash Dance Party, the Not-so-Haunted Greenhouse, Spooky Train Ride, the Halloween Hay Maze, musical entertainment, jugglers, stiltwalkers, magic shows and so much more.

Tickets cost $8 for children ages 2 and up, and $7 for members of the Zoological Society. Every child who attends will receive a complimentary treat, and adults and kids alike are encouraged to wear fun and creative, not scary, costumes.

Boo at the Zoo will run from Thursday, October 16 to Sunday, October 19, and again on Thursday, October 23 to Sunday, October 26. Gates open at 5:30pm, while the event proper begins at 6pm and runs to 9pm each night.
