Father's Day at the Cleveland Metroparks Zoo

Celebrate Father’s Day (Sunday, June 16) with the whole family at Cleveland Metroparks Zoo. All dads will get to enjoy special perks and privileges while the whole family will have fun participating in special activities throughout the day.

The day kicks off by offering all dads half-price admission to the Zoo from 10am to 7pm. The Cans for Conservation Can Drive will take place at the Welcome Plaza near the Zoo Entrance, where you can bring in your aluminium cans and proceeds will go towards Slow Loris Conservation. A heavy equipment display and can-crushing demonstration will take place at the African Savanna near the Zoo’s Center for Zoological Medicine.

At 11:30am, 1:30 and 3:30pm, check out Professor Wylde’s Animal Show, featuring a creature cast that includes a Burmese python, Egyptian vulture, fennec fox, peregrine falcon and white stork amongst others.

Every hour starting at noon, enjoy meet and greets with Zoo keepers for orangutans, koalas, giraffes and seahorses at various Zoo locations.
