James Levin, founder of Cleveland Public Theatre and creator of IngenuityFest, is launching the Cleveland One World Festival to bring people back to the Cleveland Cultural Gardens in Rockefeller Park. Inspired by the beauty and potential of the Park and Gardens, the festival is an expansion of the Gardens’ “One World Day” celebration, an annual event held there for the past 65 years. The Cleveland One World Festival will take place on Sunday, August 25 and will feature authentic ethnic food, live musical, theatrical and artistic performances and offer the best of what Cleveland’s cultural communities have to offer. This event is free of charge and aims to celebrate the world in Cleveland, highlighting music, arts, sports, food and diversity.

Featured performers include the Murphy Irish Dancers, the Polka Pirates, African Connection, Yin Tang Dance with Rising Star Acrobats, Shuvani Bellydancers, Puerto Rican Ensemble and the Russian Men’s Choir. Other activities to look out for include tarot readings, drums and percussions, brass and trumpet performances and yoga demonstrations.
