HansonHouse's 10th annual Golf Benefit and Barbecue Dinner in Berea

HansonHouse Traumatic Brain Injury Clubhouse in Berea will be holding its 10th annual Golf Benefit and Barbecue Dinner on Sunday, August 19. The event will begin at 9am at Emerald Woods Golf Course, located at 12501 N Boone Rd in Columbia Station.

This is a major fundraising event for HansonHouse, a nonprofit organization developed by and for people who have suffered traumatic brain injuries. The organization provides free, non-medical program services to survivors of Traumatic Brain Injury and their loved ones. These include people who have suffered brain damage as a result of strokes, anoxyia, surgery, violence and other incidents.

The cost of the event is $90 per golfer, and this includes 18 holes of golf, cart, coffee and donuts, snack, dinner and prizes. A limited number of disabled golfer scholarships will be given out, and also part of the event is a silent auction. Tickets for the barbecue only without golf are $40.

Sponsors for the event include Kiwanis clubs, United Methodist Church of Berea, Southwest General Health Center, VFW North Olmsted, VFW Columbia Township, the Boggs and Ferut Families and the city of Berea.
