Pay a visit to Little Italy this time of year and you’ll probably hear Frank Sinatra’s “White Christmas” playing at one of the many storefronts along Mayfield and Murray Hill roads.
Adding to the warm and fuzzy holiday atmosphere are the pretty lights, lovely window displays and cozy shops. All these and more are good reasons to check out Little Italy’s Holiday Art Walk.
Pegging itself as “a walking community,” Little Italy has a vintage atmosphere that makes visitors feel as if they’re taking a stroll into a distant past, decades before “big box retailers” and “Black Friday” came into vogue. Visitors can enjoy authentic pizza and cappuccino after browsing through the quaint stores that line the streets.
