Mahall’s Lakewood Music Fest will take place on Saturday, August 24 at 13200 Madison Avenue in Lakewood. Now on its second year, the music fest began as a summer block party featuring music, food and fun with friends in Lakewood.
This year’s featured performers include Talib Kweli, Phony PPL, Jamaican Queens, To Be Continued Brass Band, JP & The Chatfield Boys, Filmstrip, Beach Stav and Wesley Brite & The Hi-Lites. Food, drinks and other products will be supplied by the Touch Supper Club, Jibarro, La Banana Frita, Chill Pop Shop and Mason Creamery amongst others. Tickets cost $20 in advance and $25 on the day of the show and are available online at ticketfly.com, at Mahall’s or at local Lakewood shops My Mind’s Eye and The Root Cafe.
