The North Union Farmers Market is opening on Wednesday, July 25 at 11am in the Cleveland Clinic Family Health and Surgery Center located at 26900 Cedar Road in Beachwood.
Vendors will be selling locally-grown produce, as well as dairy and meat products, breads, jellies, cheese, honey and more, and the Moises Borges Brazilian Jazz Band will provide live music and entertainment. The market will be open from 11am to 2pm every Wednesday from July 25 to September 26.
Before making any purchases at the market, shoppers must visit the information table to get tokens. Tokens to buy items at the market will be given in exchange for Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program EBT debit cards. Senior coupons will also be accepted.
As part of the Cleveland-Cuyahoga County Food Policy Coalition Produce Perks Incentive Program, shoppers will receive a dollar-for-dollar match to every dollar spent up to $10 if they use an Ohio Direction Card at the market.
The North Union Farmers Market is a nonprofit organization focused on connecting Northeast Ohio food with local consumers through various farmers markets.
