The ninth annual Sparx City Hop will take place on Saturday, November 12 from 11am to 6pm in downtown Cleveland and city neighborhoods.
The Sparx City Hop, sponsored by the Downtown Cleveland Alliance, is a showcase for arts, culture, dining and shopping and a celebration of the strength and diversity of the Cleveland community. The one-day event regularly draws in as many as 25,000 visitors annually. Event goers get the chance to visit over 70 galleries and artist studios, 100 restaurants, several markets and dozens of retail shops.
Free trolley service will carry visitors to AsiaTown, the Campus District, the Historic Warehouse District, the Historic Gateway Neighborhood, MidTown, Ohio City, St. Clair-Superior and Tremont. Free guided trolley tours will also be available, with tour guides sharing interesting facts about architecture, culture, history and notable residents as patrons loop through neighborhoods on the trolleys.
Entertainment will be provided as live concerts take place at 200 Public Square from 11am to 6pm, while at the same time, Cleveland’s gourmet good trucks will gather at Lincoln Park for the last C-town Chowdown event for the year.
