United Way of Greater Cleveland will have its annual fundraising campaign on Thursday, August 29 from 7 to 10am on Public Square in downtown Cleveland. Get your fill of delicious pancakes nice and hot while supporting a good cause.
Serving as chefs at the event will be civic leaders, local celebrities and other volunteers, who will man the griddles and serve up the hotcakes to all who attend. United Way expects more than 9,000 pancakes to be served and over 3,000 breakfasts catered to hungry guests. Pay only $5 for a full meal of pancakes, sausage, orange juice and coffee, with proceeds going towards charity. The 2013 Campaign Co-Chairs, Ira C. Kaplan, managing partner, Benesch, Friedlander, Coplan & Aronoff LLP; Patrick M. Pastore, executive vice president, market leader, PNC Bank; and Terry Stewart, retired president, Rock & Roll Hall of Fame and Museum, will announce this year’s campaign goal at 8am.
