PlayhouseSquare and Cleveland State University present the North Union Farmers Market at Star Plaza for the first time this year. An urban oasis for locally grown fresh produce, the market will be open every Thursday from 10:30am to 1:30pm starting September 19.
North Union Farmers Market aims to champion the local foods of Northeast Ohio, while also promoting their environmental, economic and health benefits through connecting certified producers with consumers via a network of markets.
This year’s markets are in seven summer locations, including the Cleveland Clinic, Shaker Square, University Hospitals and Chagrin Falls.
