Radiohead and Phish book concert dates at Blossom Music Center

Two bands from different genres have booked concert dates at Blossom Music Center this summer.

First off, English rock band Radiohead has booked a June 6 date at Blossom as part of the North American leg of their ongoing “The King of Limbs” tour. Tickets for their show go on sale at 10am on Saturday, March 10 at all Ticketmaster locations. They will also be available by phone at 800-745-3000 or online at livenation.com. Tickets cost $69.50 pavilion and $30 lawn. A per-ticket sales surcharge may apply.

Radiohead have sold over 30 million albums worldwide and are widely considered one of the biggest, most influential bands of the 1990s and 2000s. Their music has evolved through the years as the band experimented and progressed from guitar-driven rock to electronics and jazz influences, but always with the distinctive and artistic Radiohead sound. Their latest album, “The King of Limbs” was released in 2011 with the eponymous lead single “Lotus Flower.”

Also playing at Blossom this summer are the post-modern hippie band Phish. They have booked a June 24 concert date. Tickets for Phish are $60 pavilion, $45 lawn and go on sale at 10am on Saturday, March 17 at the same outlets mentioned above.

Phish is known for their musical improvisation, extended jams, exploration of music across genres and their highly devoted fan base.
