The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and Museum will be unveiling its first ever major exhibit honoring the Rolling Stones on Friday, May 24. Entitled “Rolling Stones: 50 Years of Satisfaction,” the exhibit will feature personal items and out of the ordinary collections that have never been seen by the public before.
Greg Harris, president and CEO of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame said, “The Rolling Stones are the epitome of rock and roll. This first ever exhibit gives us an opportunity to tell the story of one of the definitive rock and roll bands. The experience should be on every music fan’s destination list this summer.”
The exhibit takes up two and a half floors of the museum and will be open until March 2014. Throughout the exhibit’s run, the Museum will be hosting a range of free public programs including interviews, films and special lectures, all with the goal of exploring the significance and legacy of the legendary band.
The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and Museum is located at 1100 Rock and Roll Boulevard in Cleveland. Hours are from 10am to 5:30pm daily, with closing hours at 9pm on Wednesdays. For more information on this event, please visit www.rockhall.com.
