Cleveland Metroparks Zoo will be holding a Senior Safari on Friday, May 31. On this day, free admission and special activities will be offered to visitors aged 55 and older.
Senior health, wellness and lifestyle information will be featured at the Zoo’s exhibitor pavilion from 10am to 1pm. Visitors may also enjoy theatrical performances and live music from Dixieland bands.
After the event, check out the newly opened Dinosaurs! Exhibit around Waterfowl Lake. This popular exhibit features 20 impressive animatronic dinosaurs, including 6 new ones which will be making their Zoo debut this year. Watch out for the fascinating Quetzalcoatlus, one of the largest flying creatures ever to exist on this planet, as well was the ever-popular crowd favorite, the fearsome Tyrannosaurus Rex. Admission is $3.50 for non-members and $2 for Zoo members.
