Have a special family day and celebrate the wonders of science with Sid the Science Kid at the Cleveland Museum of National History on Saturday, April 12. This family friendly events will feature screenings of the movie “Sid the Science Kid: What is a Rainbow?” at noon and 2pm, amazing whimsical bubble shows at 11am and 2pm, fascinating live animal shows at 1pm and 3pm, photo ops with Sid in the Museum Lobby, fun bubble and rainbow activities and crafts, and free raffle prizes up for grabs.
Sid the Science Kid is an award-winning educational animated television series for preschoolers that uses humor and music to promote exploration, discovery and science readiness. The series airs locally on WVIZ/PBS ideastream. The feature film “Sid the Science Kid: What is a Rainbow?” was co-produced by The Jim Henson Company and NCircle Entertainment.
The event kicks off at 10am. Members of the Cleveland Museum of Natural History get in free, while non-members will need to pay general admission.
