Grilling season is just around the corner here in Northeast Ohio, so it’s time to dust off the equipment and brush up on your outdoor cooking techniques.
This weekend, the first Spring Fabulous Food Show is happening at the International Exposition Center in Cleveland, and it looks like it could offer a lot of great tips and advice on different approaches to outdoor cooking.
Celebrity chefs Bobby Flay, Steven Raichlen and world-renowned Emeril Lagasse will be headlining the line up of experts who will be sharing techniques, tips, new recipes and good old-fashioned wisdom.
As Lagasse said during an extensive phone interview, “We’re going to have some fun this weekend.”
The show kicks off at 10am on Saturday, April 28 and runs through Sunday at 6pm. Tickets are $25 for advance purchase, $30 starting the first day of the show, and parking is an additional $8.
Visitors to the show can expect to see presenters demonstrate a spectrum of dishes, ranging from pizzas baked on an open fire, to smoky grilled artichokes and backyard ravioli, to an interesting session on how to make bratwurst from scratch.
Lagasse said, “Among other things, I’m going exclusively with seafood during my shows, to show some people there are other things to do on the grill besides steaks or hamburgers.”
All in all, the show promises to exciting and entertaining, so if you are into cooking, grab your tongs and don’t miss the Spring Fabulous Food Show at the I-X Center.
