Strongsville business offers instant childcare, opening in Spring

A Strongsville working mom has decided to start a business that will help parents find childcare almost instantly.

Beginning this spring, Sweet Kiddles will operate as a childcare center that will offer childcare, preschool classes and camps in Strongsville.

Andrea Kimmel, CEO of Sweet Kiddles and the brains behind the operation, said she was inspired by her own life to start the business.

“I had my first child four years ago,” she said. “Ever since having children I’ve been trying to work full time. I tried having a nanny but nannies get sick and need vacation too.”

She explained that parents could drop off their children at the center, either for a full workday or just a few hours to run some errands. The center’s services would also allow Mommy and Daddy to get a night off from time to time.

“My husband and I would want to go on a date but we have the kids to worry about,” said Kimmel. “Now parents can drop off the kids and have a date night.”

The center is located at 16512 Pearl Road. Hours will be 7am to 9pm Monday through Thursday, 7am to 11pm on Friday, 10am to 11pm on Saturday and 10am to 6pm on Sunday.

Laura Sheridan, marketing consultant for Sweet Kiddles, said, “It’s open seven days a week and it’s open longer than any other daycare facility.”
