The Strongsville United Church of Christ located at 13740 Pearl Road in Strongsville is hosting a Pancake Breakfast on Sunday, April 15 from 9am to 1pm. The event is open to the public.
Tickets are $6 for adults and $3 for children under the age of 10. All proceeds will go towards the continued restoration of the church’s pipe organ.
The church has been unable to use the organ for about two years now, but members were able to raise enough funds to begin restoration on it recently. Phase two of the restoration is now underway, and includes improving the organ’s functionality and repairing several pipes.
Aside from the chance to enjoy delicious pancakes and to take part in a community activity, there will also be a raffle for a personal notebook computer and $100 gift cards at the event. Raffle tickets for the computer cost $10 while raffle tickets for the gift cards cost $5 each.
