The Annual Super Saturday 5K and One Mile Run is coming up soon, so you may want to break out your running shoes and start training.
The event will be hosted by the Ehrnfelt Recreation Center. Registration will begin on Saturday, March 17 at 7am. The race will start at the recreation center, located at 18100 Royalton Road.
Participants may sign up for either the one mile run, which begins at 8:30am, or the 5K which begins at 9am.
Pre-registration is $20 or $25 for participants running in both races. Registration the day of the event is $25 for one race and $30 for both races. Interested parties may sign up for the race online at hermescleveland.com or by calling (440) 580-3260. You can register online or download a registration form. Forms must be post marked by March 12. Online registration will close at 9am on Friday, March 16.
You may also download a course map from the Hermes website. The 5K will begin at the recreation center, head toward Pearl Road, turn onto Fall Water Road and head back to the recreation center via Royalton Road.
Runners will all receive t-shirts for their participation, and awards will be given to the top three male and female runners in each age category. Proceeds from the race will benefit the Strongsville Recreation Department.
