For some winter fun with the whole family, why not go tobogganing on the toboggan chutes at the Chalet Recreation Area of Cleveland Metroparks? Enjoy a hassle free day of wintry fun and exhilarating rides as toboggans are provided (you are actually not allowed to bring your own) and there is a lift, so there’s no need for you to struggle to the top lugging your toboggan behind you.
Hours are from 6pm to 10pm on Thursdays, from 6pm to 10:30pm on Fridays, from noon to 10:30pm on Saturdays and from noon to 5pm on Sundays. The chutes are open through Sunday, March 10, as long as weather permits.
Riders must wear mittens or gloves, and must be at least 42 inches tall. Children 11 years old and younger must be accompanied by an adult. All day riding tickets cost $10 for adults and $8 for children 11 years old and younger. Just one ride costs $4.
