For those of you with little ones too young for overly scary Halloween haunts, Cedar Point Amusement Park located at 1 Cedar Point Dr. in Sandusky offers several family friendly events that kids of all ages are sure to enjoy. Take part in a unique trick or treat experience with Dinosaurs Alive! on Adventure Island at the park.
Open to herbivores, carnivores and candyvores alike, this weekend treat features pumpkins, candy stops, crafts and prizes all throughout the route. Children will be given a big bag to fill up with candy when they visit each candy stop. They can then pick out their own pumpkins at the prehistoric pumpkin patch and decorate them at the arts and crafts area. Of course, the stars of the show are the more than 50 life-sized, moving dinosaurs that will surely fascinate both children and adults.
Trick-or-Treat with the Dinosaurs is open every Saturday and Sunday from noon to 6pm. Tickets are $5 each. A separate ticket is required to enter, as it is not included with park admission.
