Here’s a quick run down of some of the things that are happening in Strongsville this weekend:
On Friday, March 23, head on down to Molly McGhee’s Sports Pub to meet Kevin Roberts of “The Food Dude” on the Food Network from 8 to 10pm. The band Caliber will be performing at 9pm. Molly McGhee’s Sports Pub is located at 13169 Prospect Road.
On Saturday, March 24, Strongsville High School will be hosting SHS Teen Idol in the school’s auditorium at 7pm. Tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for students. Judges for this year’s event are Don Shearer, the director of music at the Strongsville United Methodist Church; J.R. Muth, choral director at Albion Middle School; and Dan Fogarty, Strongsville Alumnus and past Cantorum president. Contestants are Lexi Sinisgalli, Katie Marconi, Arica Fiorini, Kat Siamidis, Riley Sheppard, Peyton Straube, Rachael Arula, Joy Schaeffer, Sarina Wills, Jordan Kosar, Andrew Ong, Johnny Flaherty, Gwen D’Amico, Simone Morton, Rachell Wells, Tony Ferrante, Morgan Gecking and Sammi Hartman. There will be concessionaire stands as part of this musical fundraiser.
On Sunday, March 25, pay a visit to the Westfiel SouthPark Shopping Mall and have your photo taken with the Easter Bunny from 11am to 6pm. Photo packages range from $21 to $45.
