West Side Market Fest and Parade in celebration of centennial

West 25th Street in Cleveland will be closed to traffic on Sunday, October 7 from 11am to 8pm for the highly-anticipated West Side Market Fest and Parade in celebration of the West Side Market’s centennial. The event is a must-see street festival that will feature live music and entertainment, artisan vendors and of course, lots of delicious food from local restaurants and food trucks.

The festival will begin on Sunday morning with food, beverages and entertainment, followed by a parade led by grand marshals and proud West Side Market Vendors. The Market will then be open from 1 to 6pm – for the first time on a Sunday in about a decade. Ohio City restaurants and food trucks will line the street for the duration of the event. The lighting of the historic Clock Tower is expected to take place at 6:45pm.

There will be two stages at the venue featuring live music and performances by ethnic dance groups. Food demos, tastings, scarecrow building and pumpkin painting will take place as part of the Harvest Activities on Ohio City Farm. Family-friendly activities including face painting, balloon art, magicians and Campbell’s Sweets Factory Imagination Station will all take place inside a spacious Activities Tent.

The event is brought to you by the Lutheran Hospital, produced by Live Nation, and with sponsors including Councilman Joe Cimperman and GE Lighting.
