Whiskey Island and Ronald McDonald House present Labor Day Air-A-Fair, happening on Saturday, August 30 from 12 to 6PM at Wendy Park, located at 2800 Whiskey Island Drive in Cleveland.
Enjoy a fun and exciting day out on the lakefront this Labor Day weekend! Bring your whole family, blankets and chairs and watch a fantastic Air Show as well as a live performance from a DJ, contests, Cleveland team mascot appearances, a 50/50 raffle, sideboards, auctions, and of course, a visit from Ronald McDonald himself.
Buy all-day wristbands for the kids and let them go crazy on all the different inflatable activities. Food and drinks will be available for purchase, and a cash bar will be on site.
Proceeds from the event will go towards the Ronald McDonald House. Many families travel far from home and spend several weeks or months to get treatment for their seriously ill or injured children – a long time to be away or to divide a family. And, for children facing a serious medical crisis, nothing seems scarier than not having mom and dad close by for love and support. A Ronald McDonald House is that “home-away-from-home” for families so they can stay close by their hospitalized child at little or no cost.
