"Wild Times with Jack Hanna" at the Akron Civic Theatre

The Akron Zoo will be presenting “Wild Times with Jungle Jack Hanna” at the Akron Civic Theatre on Thursday, April 18 at 6:30pm. This is an event that children of all ages can enjoy, as it features animals and an entertaining personality who will share funny stories and educational tidbits. It is also a fundraising event to benefit the Akron Zoo.

Hanna is a television personality, author, conservationist and Director Emeritus of the Columbus Zoo & Aquarium. Several animal ambassadors from the Columbus Zoo & Aquarium will accompany him during the show to help entertain and educate the crowd.

The 75-minute show is sponsored by the Robert O. Orr & Annamae Orr Family Foundation, and proceeds will go towards the Akron Zoo’s new exhibit, the Mike & Mary Stark Grizzly Ridge, which is set to open in late summer this year.

Tickets are available by calling the Akron Zoo at 330-375-2550. The Akron Civic Theatre is located at 182 S. Main Street in Akron. For more information on this event, please visit akroncivic.com or www.akronzoo.org.
