One of Cleveland’s most loved musicals is returning to the stage soon. Disney’s The Lion King will be showing at PlayhouseSquare’s State Theatre from Tuesday, July 9 to Sunday, August 4. Helmed by award winning director Julie Taymor, the musical features a breath taking spectacle of animals brought to life by an amazing cast. Of course, the musical score is the main highlight of the show, with the Oscar award winning song “Can You Feel the Love Tonight” by Elton John and Tim Rice and the memorable “Circle of Life.”

The show will run for almost three weeks, with 1pm, 1:30pm, 6:30pm and 7:30pm showings. VIP ticket packages are also available, which include the best seats in the theatre as well as a commemorative souvenir program and complimentary merchandise items.

For ticket prices, more information on the event and a complete schedule of show times, please visit www.playhousesquare.org. PlayhouseSquare is located at 1501 Euclid Avenue, Suite 200 in Cleveland.
