The city of Broadview Heights is all set to come alive with community spirit on July 7-10 when “Home Days on the Green” will be held at Broadview Center, 9654 Broadview Road.
With temperatures rising and the summer sun finally shining down, residents are expected to come in droves to the Center to play games, listen to music and of course, to enjoy a wide array of delicious food.
The annual event is a celebration of all things Broadview Heights; it is a fun filled, action packed weekend of events and entertainment. This year, it will be bigger than ever before, and different in a few ways.
The new layout of the Home Days event will include four distinct areas, designed to show off the special characteristics of Broadview Heights.
Rides, food and carnival games provided by Big O Amusements will be featured at the midway. The Orbit, a new attraction, spins riders around and takes them up into the air.
For event goers who enjoy music, the Green is the place to be, as numerous musical acts will be featured throughout the weekend. This area will feature the Stage on the Gree, as well as a beer garden, a raffle and silent auction booth, and a vast array of food vendors.
The city’s new Pavilion Park will serve as the third area of the celebration. Musical acts will perform on the Pavilion Stage while children play on the playground and skate park.
Lastly, anyone seeking relief from the heat can head on down to the community center, where they can sit at casino tables and play Blackjack, Let it Ride or Texas Hold’em Poker.
With such exciting events and activities planned, Home Days on the Green is sure to have something for everyone.
