The Cain Park Arts Festival in Cleveland Heights, Ohio will take place during the second full weekend in July. Featuring the work of 150 artists, the Festival is a juried fine arts and fine crafts event. 25 of the said artists are the previous year’s award winners who were automatically accepted into this year’s show.
Event goers can expect to see a showcase of different kinds of two-dimensional art, including paintings, watercolors, hand pulled prints and photography. Also featured are fine crafts in all categories including sculptures, ceramics, all media of jewelry, wood, leather, gass and other materials in proportions dictated by the number of applicants and the quality of their work.
The objective of the event is to offer the best quality art in all price ranges. Festival audiences can expect to purchase art at all price levels. The advertising and promotion of the event targets a completely diverse audience, varying in age, artistic background and affluence.
The three day outdoor event starts on Friday from 3pm to 8pm. Admission is free for all ages on the first day. It opens again on Saturday at 10am and runs until 8pm, with admission costing $5 per person for ages 13 and up. The Festival ends on Sunday, opening at noon and running on til 5pm, with admission costing the same as aforementioned.
