From Trey Parker, Robert Lopez and Matt Stone, the creators of the animated comedy South Park, The Book of Mormon is an award-winning religious satire musical. The show first opened on Broadway in 2011 and is now coming to Cleveland. Catch the show, dubbed “the funniest musical of all time” by Entertainment Weekly, at PlayhouseSquare from Thursday, June 27 to Sunday, July 7.
Since it first opened, the musical has been overwhelmingly well-received by critics and audiences alike, and has received numerous awards including nine Tony Awards, four Drama Desk Awards and one Grammy Award for Best Musical Theater Album.
