Iconic American rock band The Eagles has announced their 2013 “History of the Eagles” tour, which includes a stop at Quickens Loans Arena this month. The tour kicks off this summer and is in celebration of the release of the band’s documentary “History of the Eagles,” which was shown on television in February on Showtime.
The show at the Q will take place on Tuesday, July 9 at 8pm. Fans can expect the band, made up of musicians Glenn Frey, Don Henley, Joe Walsh and Timothy B. Schmit, to perform such classic favorites as “New Kid in Town,” “Best of My Love,” “Take it to the Limit,” “One of these Nights,” Take it Easy,” “Rocky Mountain Way,” “Lyin’ Eyes” and of course, “Hotel California,” which is arguably their biggest hit. The band will also perform songs from their members’ solo catalogs during this one night only performance.
