The third annual Cleveland Russian Festival will take place from Friday, July 26 to Sunday, July 28 at the St. Sergius Russian Orthodox Cathedral located at 6520 Broadview Road in Parma.
Visitors can expect a smorgasbord of authentic Russian dishes including Russian crepes called blini, stuffed cabbage, Russian salad made with diced potatoes, vegetables, eggs and ham, a Russian meat pastry called chebureki and the Russian version of ravioli known as pelmeni.
The festival will also feature exciting dance performances by dancers dressed in traditional costumes, domra and balalaika players, vodka tastings and a Matroshka doll Russian corn hole game. This year’s featured performer is a Russian dance and music ensemble, Barynya.
This event is open to the public and free of charge. Hours are from 6pm to midnight on Friday, noon to midnight on Saturday, and noon to 9pm on Sunday. For more information, please visit clevelandrussianfestival.org.
